Y4 Birch - Remembrance Poppies

Date: 11th Nov 2020 @ 11:32am

This week, we have celebrated Remembrace Day to remember all those that fought and died in the line of duty to keep us free. We learnt lots from our Remembrance Day assembly and also enjoyed reading and discussing the poem 'In Flanders Fields'. We also made a poppy each and wrote the names of a number of soldiers from the St Helens Rolls of Honour. We think that our poppies are very colourful and show a great sign of respect. We cannot wait to see them on display with the rest of the poppies that other children in the school have made. We are very proud of our war heroes.
