School can only administer prescribed medicines and only if they need to be taken four times daily. Parents of children who require regular medication e.g. inhalers need to inform our First Aid Co-ordinator Mrs P Crook and the necessary arrangements can be made. All medication needs to be signed in at the school office by an adult and must NOT be placed in the children's bags.
The wearing of jewellery, including earrings, is against school rules for health and safety reasons. The wearing of watches is permitted.
School will inform parents or guardians if a case of headlice occurs in your child's class. Please visit www.nittygritty.co.uk for advice on prevention and treatments.
Mrs Diane Riley is available to speak to children, parents or guardians about all Health and Well Being issues, practical advice on benefits, bereavement etc. Please Tel. 01744 734829 to make an appointment.

Health & Wellbeing
We promote pupil health and wellbeing through encouraging children to take breaks within the school day. To help children to refocus, remain calm and reduce stress, the children carry out 'Brain Break Breathing' tasks.
