|Eco-Schools is an international award programme that guides schools on their sustainable journey, providing a framework to help embed these principles into the heart of school life.|
Eccleston Mere Primary School has an Eco Committee made up of two children from each year 3 and year 4 class, plus Mr Mugan and Mrs Hackett. This committee meet at least once a month to discuss eco matters and to generate ideas of what our school can do to become more 'green'.
We have recently achieved the Bronze Eco-School Award and we are now working towards the silver award. These awards are given to recognise our achievement in working towards a sustainable lifestyle.
