Year 5 Geography!

This week year 5 have been learning about maps! First, we were given questions about where places were and we had to find them using an atlas. This week, we were told to design a map of our own! We got a piece of paper and drew lines going up and then across to make squares. Then, we made our own island and drew symbols to represent mountains, lakes, rivers and railways. Finally, we made a key and wrote what the symbols represented and where to find them. We had a lot of fun making our maps!
